Our client

We have recently taken another briefing for a client of ours who is looking for an Event Coordinator to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract and this is a part-time role up to 30 hours per week over 4 days. My client are a fantastic business who have consistently exceeded expectations on a number of key projects for high-end clients across the UK. They have a very collaborative team who all work hard to achieve business objectives and offer excellent progression opportunities as you continue to grow into the role. This role is 4 days in the office with the working hours of 8am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. If you are some who is passionate about horticultural events and gardening, then this is the role for you!

Please note that candidates will need to drive due to office location.

Salary up to Pro Rota of 32k per year

Job description

  • Responsible for being the first point of contact for all calls and dealing with them in a professional manner.
  • Researching new products and keeping a record of all purchases for credit cards for all finance purposes and cross referencing so the log budget is accurate.
  • End-to-end event attendee management, including dealing with speakers and VIPs.
  • Setting up for events and organising the diary for the Creative Designer.
  • Dealing positively with partners, clients and other staff members across the business.
  • General administration tasks to support the Designer.
  • Organising all travel and accommodation for events in addition to processing expenses.
  • Coordination at trade events e.g. RHS nationwide events across the Surrey location.
  • Managing the eBay shop and processing all of the orders in an accurate manner.

Key skills

  • Organised with the ability to multitask.
  • Adaptable to key event management tasks.
  • Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Personable with excellent communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Happy being physically active and prepared to work outdoors in inclement weather at times.
