Our client are seeking a passionate, customer focussed Events Coordinator to join their Conference Sales and Events team.
Key Duties:
- Responding to event enquiries via website, email and phone
- Identifying opportunities to upsell
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Follow up on enquiries to convert sales
- Conduct show-rounds, both pre-booked and walk-ins
- Ensure contracts are completed with highest levels of accuracy
- Working with other departments to plan and execute events
- Ensure smooth running of all events for maximum customer satisfaction
- Plan and attend open evenings and promotional events
Experience required:
- Previous experience within a sales or events role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highest levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Creative mindset
- Knowledge of OPERA would be advantageous
