Events Coordinator - £30,000 - £35,000.

Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an enthusiastic events coordinator to join their organisation based in Woking. Our client works within the non-profit industry and are dedicated to helping and supporting individuals.

The role will be joining the Event team where you will be involved in the planning of events and logistics. Supporting the team where needed and assistance of project managing events.

Duties:

  • Assisting the team with major projects.
  • Able to negotiate and liaise with suppliers - Maintaining and developing all contacts on the database (Contractors and Suppliers)
  • Attending/Leading Events as required
  • Managing advertisements and promotions
  • Leading the recruitment process of volunteers - Ensuring key checks are completed promptly and accurately
  • Booking hotels and any travel
  • Organisation for pre-event volunteer materials
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks that arise on a daily basis

Experience Required:

  • Must have experience managing/handling events
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Eager and enthusiastic to progress within an events career route
  • Previous experience working within a non-profit sector
  • Flexible attitude to work
  • Must be educated to degree level
  • Can confidently work under pressure and able to meet deadlines
