This position offers the opportunity to work for one of Surrey's most esteemed companies, headquartered in Woking. I am seeking a candidate who possesses expertise in financial modelling analysis and Workday. This role will be positioned within the main finance function, requiring an individual to leverage their comprehensive knowledge in designing, developing, and maintaining strategic-level reporting to support the leadership team and stakeholders in making informed decisions and directing the organisation’s strategy.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Finance and will engage in detailed reporting, analysis, and process mapping within Workday. Therefore, it is vital that applicants not only have a solid analytical foundation in Workday but also possess strong business partnering abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design develop, and maintain complex matrix reporting, including tailored ad-hoc reports for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Present intricate financial information in an engaging, concise, and impactful manner.
  • Ensure governance and controls over the reporting suite within Workday, maintaining responsibility for data integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and budget holders to identify specific reporting requirements and oversee the development and execution of these requirements.
  • Conduct training for end users on Workday and the dashboard reporting tools created.
  • Address any reporting errors that arise within Workday.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial reporting, with a focus on automation and optimization.
