Description
- Lead and manage the audit team during audits and control consulting engagements.
- Oversee the completion of audit assignments ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and timescales.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and ensure their expectations are managed and met.
- Contribute to the development and training of audit team members.
- Identify and recommend potential business opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Act as a point of reference for technical and sector knowledge.
- Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
- Proven experience in audit and assurance within a business services environment.
- Proven experience in managing a portfolio of SME clients.
- Strong technical abilities and experience of UK GAAP, and IFRS.
- Excellent team leadership abilities and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven project management skills.
