Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering a Global Blue-Chip Organisation with the key hire of a Credit Control Manager on a permanent basis.
Salary - up to £60K + Bonus & Benefits
Location - Surrey Office on a hybrid basis
We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager, ensuring the effective management of customer accounts and timely collection of outstanding debts. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while minimising financial risk to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the credit control team to ensure efficient debt collection.
- Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate customer credit limits and payment terms.
- Reduce aged debt and ensure timely payments from clients.
- Handle escalated debt recovery issues and negotiate payment plans where necessary.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, cash flow, and risk analysis.
- Work closely with sales and finance teams to improve credit control processes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Control Manager or in a similar role leading a team of 3 +
- Experience within a shared service function
- Exposure to off shoring
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of credit control procedures and financial risk management.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
