Automotive Prepper / Polisher
Location: Woking
Contract length: Ongoing
Hours: Rotational shift AM Shift: 5:30am - 13:45pm PM Shift: 15:00pm - 23:15pm
We have some excellent opportunities for people with automotive Prepper / Polisher experience to join our Automotive client at their site in Woking on a contract basis.
The role will work as part of a small, multi-functional team split across a 2-shift operation on a 1-week rotation (Early: 5:30 - 13:45 & Late: 15:00 - 23:15)
The successful Automotive Prepper / Polisher will be highly skilled in:
- Panel and wheel preparation
- SMART repair
- Masking of panels and wheels
- Paint flattening
- Paint touch-ups
- Inspection of finished vehicles to ensure no defects and a perfect finish every time
The ideal Automotive Prepper / Polisher will have:
- Experience within an Automotive environment
- Experience prepping / polishing of vehicles
- Ability to work under pressure and to achieve tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions
- Confident in using all the necessary tools and materials
- Quality focussed with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H and environmental procedures
