Initial contact for sales, overseeing the entire order fulfilment process, including order receiving, processing, and ensuring delivery.

Supporting sales team, Head of Operations and Corporate Controller, Supply Planner and finance team with all order to cash process

Description

  • Receive customer orders via email, telephone, and EDI, checking credit status.
  • Enter orders into Business Central/ERP, confirming their validity.
  • Liaise with 3PL, controlling when orders are released to ensure they meet customer delivery dates.
  • Maintain daily reports on deliveries.
  • Manage customer and consumer complaints, effectively dealing with issues.
  • Work closely with finance and the rest of the operations team, checking and filing orders.
  • Complete other tasks as required by the team, particularly during the month-end period.

Profile

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar position with a strong work ethic
  • Appreciate the importance of accuracy
  • Customer facing with first class communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge ERP systems (Dynamics Nav / Nav 365 / Business Central)
  • IT literate - MS office (good excel experience vital - Vlookups and pivot tables)
  • Good attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and foster a positive team environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability and willingness to come to our office in Woking 4 days/week
