SENIOR FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR - WOKING - C £45K

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS TOTALLY OFFICE BASED

Are you looking for a coordinator role where you will be providing holistic support and inspiration to people taking part in my clients challenges and activities, and to manage their progress. To help develop new initiatives and diversify the Fundraising income for my client. You will also take part in all the activities of the department.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing fund-raising stewardship to people taking part in challenges through telephone calls and emails.
  • Resolving day to day queries about the running of the online fund-raising pages as well as more general fund-raising queries.
  • To develop a relationship and provide advice, motivation and support to walkers taking part in some unique challenges through telephone calls and emails. To follow up people experiencing difficulties and encourage them to achieve fund-raising deadlines.
  • To become proficient at using the fund-raising registration platform.
  • To identify the higher fund-raisers taking part in events and offer more personalised support and help, developing a pipeline where appropriate.
  • Follow up fund-raiser who miss deadlines to offer extra support and motivation.
  • To thank our supporters by telephone, email and letter.
  • To cross promote activities to supporters.
  • To work with internal teams such as Events, Support, Finance, Social Media and PR.
  • To communicate issues and answer internal fund-raising queries from the other teams. To work collaboratively in order to maximise income and ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • To attend meetings within the office as required.
  • To help other teams if necessary, particularly in the run up to events.
  • To identify individual fund-raisers undertaking their own fund-raiser and provide stewardship and support.
  • To deal with necessary administration and help analyse it.
  • To record all communications on the database.
  • To help manage the processes and administration for fund-raising items such as collection tubs and buckets.
  • To assist with the development of fund-raising activities such as working with fund-raising groups, community fund-raising, promoting the lottery, monthly donors, potential leavers of legacies and giving campaigns. To be able to bring experience and advice to help with the growth and development of new income streams.
  • To attend events as required.
  • To write social media posts for mass communications, to liaise with the Social media team and update the content on the website as required.
  • To support any volunteers working in the department and provide training if required.
  • To assist with the training and management of more junior staff as required.
  • To support the Head of Fundraising as required and update her on a regular basis.
  • To recognise opportunities for promoting the charity and be able to maximise them.
  • To assist with the compilation of reports for the Trustees.
