Your new companyOne of our long-standing clients are looking to recruit a proven HR Advisor to join their team. My client could also consider part time (4 days a week) for this role. This is a vital role in the HR team, you will work alongside an experienced HRBP and work with managers and employees to deliver a proactive and professional HR service.

Your new role

  • Take the lead and advise on all employee relations issues (including disciplinary, grievance, attendance, probations).
  • Work with the HR team to complete a variety of HR projects.
  • Assist the HRBP to develop HR procedures and policies.
  • Advise managers to ensure that HR processes are followed and embedded in the culture.
  • Provide reliable and trusted employment law advice both in the UK and internationally where required.
  • Deliver training sessions to managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • HR data reporting (including absence and leaver metrics).
  • Conduct exit interviews and develop meaningful data and recommendations for the business.
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to embed values into the organisational culture.
  • Undertake cultural work (surveys) and support HR and the wider business leaders in analysis of results
  • Support HR Business Partner in promotion of Employee Forums including minutes of meeting and proactively addressing and resolving points made.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with managers and employees.
  • You will have experience in a generalist HR role (at Advisor level), with solid experience in employee relations and recruitment.
  • Experience of providing solutions-based HR advice including employment law and best practice.
  • Knowledge of dealing with the performance management processes and procedures.
  • You will have knowledge of payroll and the salary review process.
  • Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience of Change Management and the Training and Development processes.
