Contract 2nd Line Desktop and End User Support Engineer Required (Inside IR35)

Our Surrey based client seeks an experienced 1st / 2nd line support engineer with the following must have skills and experience:

Min of 3 years of commercial 1st / 2nd line support experience

Role:

Act as 1st / 2nd line support engineer within a global enterprise support team using JIRA helpdesk to manage requests and incident tickets ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner, meeting quality standards.

Provisioning and support of IT related equipment

Support on-site activities aligned to the Workplace role including but not limited to IT deskside support, IT Hardware maintenance and decommission of IT assets.Technical Experience:

  • Microsoft Windows o/s (Windows 10/11) - working knowledge of build, configuration and registry settings.
  • Desktop hardware architecture.
  • Application deployment via Endpoint central / intune.
  • Microsoft Office suite - configuration, templates, macros, add-ins, advanced features and user preference configuration.

Office 365, TEAMs, Exchange On-line, One Drive and SharePoint.

  • Active Directory - basic user administration both on premise and entraID - new users / terminations.
  • Working knowledge of intune.
  • MFA - Okta user administration / Microsoft Authenticator.

Nice to have:

  • Some knowledge/experience with servers & networking equipment

This role will be initially based in Woking and will move to Weybridge after 3 months
