Our client is a non-profit organisation working with people to support their health and wellbeing.  Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its boarders. They believe change is achievable when offered by a flexible, respectful, inclusive and a non-judgemental approach.    They are currently looking for an experienced IT, Data and Digital Manager to lead the technology, data systems and digital initiative.       Salary: £40,000Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to FridayCompany Benefits:  26 days annual leave (pro rata) + bank holidays + 1 extra days leave on your birthday, Pension, Access to Simply Health, Blended working, Employee discount programme and more…..   Location – Woking office and hybrid working You will play a key role in managing the IT Operations, overseeing data and digital development and driving strategic projects.  This role will be central in managing IT partner relationships, supporting day to day IT activities, reporting and collaborating with teams to ensure their digital systems are fit for purpose and impactful.  A strong understanding of GDPR and experience in managing Subject Access Requests (SARs) is essential.  Key responsibilities 
  • IT, Data and Digital strategy - ensuring alignment with the charities mission and goals
  • IT Relationship Management – key point of contact for external IT partner, ensuring they deliver high quality service and align with needs and objectives
  • Business as Usual Support – oversee the support daily IT operations and projects ensuring systems and platforms are reliable
  • Data Systems and Reporting Management – lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of data systems, ensuring data is accessible, reporting is accurate, secure and effectively supports decision making and service delivery
  • GDPR and SAR Management – Act as DPO, ensuring full compliance with GDPR ensuring data privacy across all platforms
  • Digital Transformation and Change Management – drive digital transformation initiatives
  • Team Leadership – lead and develop the internal data team, setting clear goals and providing guidance
  • Collaboration Across Teams – work closely with marketing and communications team, and the service delivery team to ensure digital tools and platforms effectively support communication, outreach and engagement goals
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting – develop and oversee metrics for IT, data and digital functions. Collecting, organising and analysing data, ensuring data collection aligns with contract and organisational requirements

  • Experience in a leadership role within IT, Data and Digital
  • Proven track record of managing an external IT provider and overseeing day to day IT operations
  • Deep understanding of GDPR compliance with practical experience of handling complex SARs
  • Experience of data systems management
  • Background in driving digital development with a focus on using technology to enhance operations and service delivery
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach
