The IT Support Engineer will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support and have expertise in network infrastructure (cabling and configuration), Intune packaging, and Checkpoint Harmony. The candidate must be able to travel on short notice to multiple sites and have the ability to work independently and troubleshoot for clients across various locations.

Description
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support via service desk calls, logging incidents, and initial troubleshooting.
- Escalate unresolved issues and provide advanced technical assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, network infrastructure).
- Configure, deploy, and manage Intune packaging and deployment solutions.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure (cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
- Perform network configuration (VLAN setup, IP addressing, routing protocols).
- Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and teams on network upgrades and enhancements.
- Provide IT systems, applications, and best practices training to clients.
- Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Profile
- 3-5 years of IT support experience (1st and 2nd line).
- Extensive experience with Intune packaging and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Checkpoint Harmony security solutions.
- Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) and cabling standards.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical info to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to high-quality support.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently in diverse environments.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
