Expleo is seeking an experienced Automotive Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility focused on high-performance road vehicles. The successful candidate will manage the processes and complexities of building new models, from initial concept designs through prototype stages to series production.

Key Responsibilities ofManufacturing Engineer - New Vehicle Launch:

  • Support cross-functional business activities, including concept/design reviews, engineering release delivery, and DFMEA.
  • Transition from virtual environment validation to physical validation and delivery.
  • Develop process sequencing, documentation, and product traceability methodologies.
  • Align new models with existing series products and future brand evolution strategies (PFMEA).
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Lead the design of new layouts and material flow or amend existing ones to ensure alignment with the facility's overall plan and vision.

Skills & Experience required for the Manufacturing Engineer - New Vehicle Launch role:

  • Degree in mechanical/automotive engineering or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in planning and executing new vehicle programs.
  • Ability to identify and resolve product-related issues while ensuring quality targets are met.
  • Previous experience with complex vehicle systems, vehicle assembly processes, trim and final processes, and end-of-line vehicle processing/finishing is highly desirable.
