We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to play a pivotal role in overseeing engineering projects from concept to completion.

Our client, a leading supplier of specialist gases to the manufacturing and medical sectors across the UK and Ireland, is involved in a wide range of projects. These include reducing harmful emissions at production sites, supplying life-saving oxygen to hospitals, and providing bulk food-grade gases for food manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, preparing cost estimates, and creating proposals for projects across these diverse business areas. You will ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of engineering programs, supporting the company's needs. Projects typically involve gas offloading, storage, and processing facilities, ranging from small-scale bottling to bulk storage for large-scale supply.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of practical industrial experience in project engineering, delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
  • Strong financial awareness and the ability to report on key metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and operate independently with a strong drive for success.
  • A degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent engineering qualification in process, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • Integrity and a commitment to creating an inclusive workplace culture.
