Our client is a prestigious Legionella Consultancy, with an excellent reputation for client service and professionalism. They are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their busy organisation. You will be conducting comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments on client sites across the South East and London, so access to the M25 would be ideal for candidates. Applicants will need an excellent grasp of industry terminology and standards and must be able to discuss in an eloquent manner. Salaries and packages are attractive and will vary depending on a candidate's expertise.
Candidates ideally will need to be based near: Woking, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Crawley, Horsham, East Grinstead, Orpington, Camberley, Aldershot, Farnham, Basingstoke, Reading, Bracknell, Slough, Hounslow, Kingston upon Thames, Wembley, Mitcham, Harrow, Watford, St Albans, Thatcham, Winchester, Petersfield, Andover.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Applicants must have proven experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Ideally will have experience working on closed systems and cooling towers
- Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to have a background in / knowledge of chemistry
- Able to use IT applications to complete reports
- Good written ability
- Strong client-facing skills
The Role:
- Conducting legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines
- Writing bespoke risk assessment reports to highlight any risks and make recommendations
- Discussing findings in great detail with clients, ensuring to answer technical questions and provide a thorough service
- Attending regular meetings on site with clients
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of service
- Travelling as per company requirements
- Working across a range of blue chip, manufacturing and commercial client sites
