Our client

We have taken another brief on a new and innovative design role for a long-term client of ours who have a hugely supportive working environment in addition to profession opportunities. They are an award-winning business who continue to thrive as they taken on further client events this year all over Surrey. This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute to a variety of public, private, and commercial sector projects while being part of a talented team. This role is fully office based with some flexibility for hybrid depending on the preference of each candidate.

Hours: Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm

Job description

  • Support senior team members on projects by producing 2D and 3D sketches, models, and drawings to bring landscape designs to life.
  • Work in a Mac-based studio, using Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Assist in the development of junior team members, providing mentorship and guidance to elevate technical drawing skills.
  • Collaborate on design concepts and provide technical expertise in construction detailing, liaising with contractors and fabricators.

Key skills required

  • Degree or Diploma in Landscape/Garden Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Around 5 years of experience working in a landscape/design studio, with proficiency in 2D and 3D drawing.
  • Strong technical drawing and design skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Mac-based software such as Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Cloud (or similar software like AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A valid Driving License.
