Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Residential Conveyancing team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the team with legal research, document preparation, and client management, contributing to the smooth running of the conveyancing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Residential Conveyancing team with managing a caseload of property transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and property-related forms.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
  • Prepare and submit applications to Land Registry and other relevant authorities.
  • Assist in the preparation of completion statements and other financial documentation.
  • Review and process client files, ensuring all documents and records are accurately maintained and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Attend to administrative duties including file management, document organisation, and correspondence.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and cases are progressed efficiently, supporting the team in achieving positive outcomes for clients.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within Residential Conveyancing.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process, including knowledge of property law and relevant legal documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing legal documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
