Our client, a well-established business, has recently relocated from Middlesex to Surrey and is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their team. This is a pivotal role, overseeing the day-to-day management of 11 staff, including 2 direct-reporting supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and support a team of 11 staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Take charge of budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
- Lead tender bids, ensuring competitive and successful submissions.
- Implement best practices to streamline processes and improve overall performance.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong background in budget management and financial oversight.
- Experience handling tender bids and business development opportunities.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to multitask and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Our client is looking at expending his business into Europe. If you have an additional second language that would be advantageous however not essential.
