We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will also possess leadership qualities to guide junior engineers and technicians while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair existing air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics on equipment to identify issues.
- To be adaptable to help our team of technicians during installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff on equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
- Document all work performed, including schematics, maintenance logs, and repair records.
- Attend call outs and diagnose repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience in air conditioning engineering or a related field is essential.
- VRV's, splits and multi's experience is a necessity.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent attention to detail is necessary.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) engineering are required.
- FGAS required minimum category 1.
- NVQ level 2 required.
- Clean driving license required.
- Will need to pass advanced DBS check which will be funded by the company.
