Trainee Underfloor Heating Installer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers with the installation of underfloor heating systems on-site for a range of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Learn and apply best practices in system layout, pipe installation, and floor preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace and adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • Support the troubleshooting and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct inspections to diagnose and resolve minor issues, escalating to senior engineers as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of all work conducted for ongoing project documentation.
  • Assist in providing on-site technical support and guidance to clients, addressing any questions they may have about the system.
  • Maintain a professional and positive relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in hands-on training sessions and professional development to enhance knowledge of underfloor heating systems.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our clients bespoke heating solutions, installation standards, and product range.
  • Stay up to date with industry standards and new technologies.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure installations are completed on schedule.
  • Assist in preparing materials and equipment for on-site work to support efficient project execution.

Trainee Underfloor Heating Installer

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical aptitude, ideally with some hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC, or a similar field (not essential)
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions, learn new skills, and take direction from senior engineers.
  • A proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.
  • GCSE Maths & English preferred.
