Account Director - Send, Surrey / WFH

£48,000 - £50,000 pro plus benefits

Our client is a very successful, inclusive and team orientated marketing agency and they are looking to recruit an Account Director to join them based near Woking in Surrey on a hybrid basis.

As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving client relationships and growth in your client portfolio, taking responsibility for some of their largest clients and their many touch points. You will oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring that they exceed client expectations and strategic goals are met. You will demonstrate a consistent high level of service for their clients, whilst being passionate about the work they do.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of client contact, ensuring effective communication and excellent customer experience
  • Own specific client revenue targets and proactively drive client revenue, providing financial intelligence such as forecasting, growth plans and pipelines
  • Work proactively with all levels of seniority within the clients' teams to help develop their businesses and seek new business opportunities within your client portfolio, securing ongoing relationships with senior points of contacts and decision makers
  • Provide a high-quality end-to-end client experience, from taking briefs and overseeing projects, being accountable to ensure work aligns to the brief throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project strategies aligned with client objectives, providing actionable insights ensuring project performance and KPIs are met
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop innovative and impactful campaigns
  • Supported by a Project Manager, ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
  • Write compelling proposals, including budgets that ensure profitability

  • Experienced and with a proven track record of relationship management, growing and nurturing clients
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Outstanding written and oral communication, including confident and engaging presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Educated to Degree level, or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Full driving licence and own car
  • Experience within another agency (marketing, design or creative agency)
