Senior Diagnostic Master Technician

£40k basic and £45k OTE

Guildford 

Permanent/Full Time

42.5h week (Saturdays on a rota 8.30 –12.30 paid at time and a half.) 

Our client, located in Guildford, is looking for an experienced Senior Diagnostic Master Technician to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality technical and diagnostic services to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and productivity targets.
  • Maintain and enhance technical expertise, ensuring compliance with manufacturer training requirements.
  • Speaking with customers and providing your technical opinion. 
  • Supporting and tutoring the team, mentoring the apprentices on site. 
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge. 
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of all your work. 
  • Communicating with both the Service Reception team and Workshop Control team. 
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.


Required Experience & Skills:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience in inspecting, repairing, and servicing motor vehicles.
  • Previous experience or qualifications as a senior technician or master technician.
  •  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in a franchised dealership environment.
