About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, working across retail buildings in the Surrey area. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical systems, providing maintenance and repair services to ensure the safety and reliability of our client's retail properties.

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs, all while delivering exceptional customer service. You will enjoy the flexibility of working with flexible hours and the benefit of a company vehicle for work use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs within retail buildings across Surrey
  • Conduct inspections, fault finding, and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance and safety
  • Carry out installations and upgrades to electrical systems as required
  • Respond to on-call emergencies (1 in 8) and ensure rapid resolution of issues
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including all safety checks and electrical reports
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure high standards of work are upheld

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (e.g., 18th Edition, City & Guilds)
  • Previous experience in electrical maintenance, ideally in retail or commercial environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding, and testing procedures
  • Full UK driving licence (for use of company vehicle)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
