CMA Recruitment Group are thrilled to present this Payroll Assistant role. This office-based role, a future hybrid option, offers the chance to work within a growing business that has grown significantly over the last 18 months. You will report to the Payroll Manager with payroll tasks. Using your attention to detail to take ownership of processing payroll, working within a friendly, fast-paced finance team and helping to implement improvements.

What will the Payroll Assistant role involve?

  • Prepare and execute weekly/monthly payroll for multiple entities.
  • Process monthly staff expenses.
  • Calculating and processing holiday pay.
  • Maintaining staff records such as pay rates and changes to hourly rates.
  • Onboard new staff members, leavers, promotions, tax code changes, court orders and statutory leave.

Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Assistant vacancy:

  • Competent at prioritising to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of IT tools
