Head of Medical requiredfor our client, they are a globally recognised professional sports team. The require a Head of Medical to work within their women's team set up, delivering a high-quality medical service for the women's programme.
Head of MedicalResponsibilities
- Monitoring all aspects of player care including prehab, rehab, fitness assessments and treatment
- Assess and analyse the clinical diagnosis for injured players
- Plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress player care to maximise rehabilitation potential
- Produce daily and weekly player injury reports
- Organise he preseason screening programme
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate clinical guidelines, ensuring clinical effectiveness to optimise player care
- Management of all women's medical staff including physiotherapist team and team doctors
- Managing all medical related budgets, ensuring efficient and cost-effective utilisation of budget
- Work closely with Head of Women's team, Head Coach and Head of Athletic Performance.
Head of MedicalRequirements
- BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Member of CSP and HPCP
- Sports specific emergency pitch-side training
- Experience working in an elite sports environment
- MSc in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy or Sports Science (Desirable)
- REF PHICIS or World Rugby equivalent (Desirable)
