This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher aiming for subject leadership. Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
- Participate in preparing students for external examinations and ensure adherence to the school’s assessment principles.
- Utilise technology effectively in teaching, with iPads and laptops provided to support learning.
- Act as a Form Tutor, providing high-quality pastoral care in line with the school’s programs.
- Engage in the school’s wider activities, contributing positively to its ethos and development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Ability to teach Philosophy and Ethics at A Level is desirable.
- Competence in using IT to enhance teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
