We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team for a long term contract based in Woking, Surrey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in being Responsible for cost planning and commercial management throughout the entire life cycle of the project from inception to post-completion.
This assignment is paying Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the project, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the following areas:
路Preparation of interim and final accounts.
路Manage day to day commercial and contract activities.
路Sub-contract procurement ensuring maximum value for money.
路Sub-contract valuations and final accounts.
路Working knowledge of NEC 3 and JCT Conditions of Contract.
路Preparation of Compensation Events/variations (depending on form of contract).
路Contractual correspondence.
路Commercial reporting.
路Procurement of professional services for design etc.
路Ability to undertake site measures when required.
路Explore the contract for opportunities and entitlements.
路Work closely with site management teams to ensure contract objectives and margins are met.
路Be able to work clearly and accurately under pressure and tight timescales.
路Be able to think logically and laterally. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
