Senior Surveyor for a fast growing SME based in Surrey

About the Role:
Our client are a fast growing multi region, industry leader known for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and a personal ethos, and are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join its regional office in Surrey, reporting into the Commercial Director.

Joining a new division to set up and procure their first two developments in Surrey and Sussex, we are looking for a contractually competent, professional Surveyor who can work within a small team but run on their own autonomy. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high standards, and driving the company’s mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

– Monitor the performance of suppliers and subcontractors.
– Undertake regular site visits and value sub-contractor applications.
– Ensure all accounts and documents are up to date and filed appropriately.
– Collaborate with all departments to support the smooth running of the office and site.
– Assist in the guidance and development of junior team members.

Skills and Experience Required:
– Previous experience in a similar role.
– Strong working knowledge of all buying and quantity surveying activities.
– Familiarity with Building Regulations, NHBC, and Health and Safety requirements is preferred.
– IT literate.
