Land Buyer

Madisons are recruiting for a Land Buyer to get started for a reputable Housing Developer based in North West, Surrey.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience overseeing  the start to finish processing of Land Purchasing

Duties will include:

• Creating and maintaining strong relationships with land agents, landowners and other stakeholders, in order to source land from a variety of means.
• Review of all land opportunities and carrying out initial assessments, to establish the sites that are the best option to pursue. Including gaining leads on new opportunities
• Carrying out market research & appraising against criteria and agreed with internal stakeholders and sales team.
• Obtaining of existing site records relating to services, adoptable highways, drainage as well as the co-ordination of land registry / ownership enquiries.
• Preparation of appraisals for sites utilising software’s
• Manage external consultants and the flow of information to agreed timescales. This will involve the co-ordination of both internal colleagues and external consultants.
• Attend Design Team meetings in conjunction with colleagues and external consultants.
• Preparation of planning documentation as sites progress through the pre-application enquiry and full planning application process.
• Liaising with Planning Department representatives through the planning process and managing the discharge of pre-commencement planning conditions.

Requirements for this role:

• 4 years experience within the industry would be desirable
• Must have experience working alongside a Construction Company
• Candidate will ideally hold a Planning/Surveyor Qualification

• £60,000 per annum -  dependant on experience and qualifications
