A great opportunity has become available for a reliable and skilled Roofers Mateto join a dynamic regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles. Based in Woking, you will join them on a full-time, permanentbasis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,000 and excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities as the Roofers Matewill include:

  • Assist the roofer to carry out roofing repairs and maintenance.
  • Set up controlled working areas using barriers.
  • Assist the roofer to inspect roof defects.
  • Assist the roofer to repair and maintain flat, tiled and slated roofs.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and returned promptly.
  • Provide excellent service to clients and maintain a good customer relationship.

What the company are looking for in their Roofers Mate:

  • PASMA/TETRA trained (Advantageous)
  • Full current driving licence
  • Over 2 years trade experience, ideally in the commercial repairs sector.
  • As most of the work will require working at height, it is essential that the operative is comfortable with this aspect of the work.
  • Able to use a smartphone of PDA to communicate effectively, explaining yourself clearly and concisely, understanding what information you need, or need to provide.
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability of working on roofs, pitched and flat.
  • Manual handling.
  • Excellent time keeping ability.
