French Teacher - Woking

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. This role requires creativity, patience, and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging French lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
  • Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love of French/
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programmes and share best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

Requirements

  • French and English Speaking
  • Strong understanding of the curriculum and educational standards relevant to the teaching position.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods to cater for different learning styles.
  • Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in teaching practices.
