Science Teacher

Looking for an opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are currently working with a Secondary school in Surrey who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team to cover on a temporary basis from January -July to cover Maternity.

As a Science Teacher, you'll have the chance to work with motivated and engaged students who are eager to learn about the world around them.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology and other science subjects as required to students of all ages and abilities.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
• Work with a supportive and collaborative team of colleagues who are committed to making a difference in the lives of our students.
• Access ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of Biology.
• Use innovative teaching methods and technologies to create a dynamic and interactive classroom experience.
• Encourage and inspire students to pursue their interest in Biology and consider careers in the field.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and events that promote the school's mission and values.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on their progress and academic performance.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data to monitor student progress and evaluate teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology) or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license.
• Experience teaching Biology and other science subjects to students of all ages and abilities.
• Passion for Biology and commitment to inspiring the next generation of physicists.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.
• Proficiency with technology and ability to integrate it into the classroom.
