I am looking for an Administration Assistant to support to the Adult Social Care MASH Team, based in Woking.

You will need to be able to commit to a 36-hour working week (split over 5 days, Monday to Friday and excluding public holidays), and be able to work from our Woking base at least two days a week.

Day to day duties:

As an Administrative Assistant within the MASH team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a front-line operational team. We are often the first point of contact for public and professional referrers of adult safeguarding concerns, and regularly link in with key partner agencies including Police, primary and secondary health care services and Children's social care. It is therefore important to be positive, polite and ensure we promote our values.

The role of an Administration Assistant is the perfect first step into the incredibly rewarding world of Adult Social Care, you will gain a good insight into the various roles involved in social care and what our practitioners do.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be expected to deal with complex telephone enquiries and a wide range of correspondence and scanning duties. Additionally, you will be asked to take notes, and minutes of meetings and be entering data on both the mainframe database and Excel spreadsheets.

All tasks require use of IT systems and databases, and data entry and record keeping are an essential part of the role.
