Your new companyWe are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Social Work professionals to join our client's Multi-Agency Safeguarding team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This team plays a vital role in safeguarding children by working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking an office-based role where travelling on visits will not be required, a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexibility in their role.

Your new role

  • Conduct thorough assessments of safeguarding referrals.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies (e.g., police, health services, social care) to gather and share information.
  • Make informed decisions on the level of risk and appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cases.
  • Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to the development of safeguarding plans.
  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Varied post-qualification experience of working in children's social care services
  • Experience of and commitment to successful partnership working with statutory, voluntary and third sector partners to safeguard and support CYP and their families
  • Ability to work at pace in sometimes challenging and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Well-developed assessment and analytical skills with the ability to navigate and interrogate data to make well-reasoned and evidence-based decisions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly with individuals, families and professionals
  • Proven ability to de-escalate situations
  • Proven ability to support and collaborate effectively with team members and other partners
  • Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
