This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Family Resilience, Safeguarding, and Corporate Parenting services, supporting children and young people to reach their full potential.What You’ll Do:Case Management: Take responsibility for a varied caseload, providing relationship-based social work services to children and families.Assessment & Planning: Conduct assessments to identify family strengths, risks, and needs, developing SMART plans to support children’s welfare.Safeguarding: Engage in child protection investigations and work collaboratively with families to develop plans that ensure children’s safety.Partnership Work: Collaborate with agencies, fostering strong relationships with legal services, healthcare, education, and other partners.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate case records in line with practice standards, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.About You:Qualifications: Professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and HCPC registration.Experience: Substantial experience in assessing and working directly with children and families in a statutory setting.Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of UK childcare laws, statutory guidance, and the “Working Together 2018” framework.Skills: Excellent communication, report-writing, and assessment skills; ability to manage challenging situations and build positive relationships.Other Requirements: DBS clearance, and willingness to travel across the county as needed.Why Join the Myn Community?Becoming part of Myn means joining a supportive and inclusive network where your growth is valued.
