We are seeking a skilled and motivated MASH Social Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the initial response to safeguarding concerns, working closely with partner agencies to assess risks and determine appropriate interventions. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a strong commitment to safeguarding, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for safeguarding referrals concerning children and vulnerable adults.
Gather, collate, and analyse information from multiple agencies to assess risk and determine the level of intervention required.
Make informed decisions about the appropriate course of action in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with other professionals within the MASH, including police, health services, education, and housing, to ensure a coordinated response.
Record and document all actions and decisions accurately, maintaining high standards of record-keeping.
Provide clear and concise recommendations for further action, including referrals to social work teams or other services.
Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to the development of safeguarding strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in safeguarding.
Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
