- Architect and develop high-performance embedded software solutions with a strong focus on FPGA integration.
- Lead technology strategy, evaluating new technologies and implementing best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Oversee system design and integration, ensuring seamless functionality across embedded and PC-based software systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the long-term growth of the in-house software team.
- Ensure compliance with security and best-practice software development standards.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in software development, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in FPGA programming and embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or similar languages for embedded applications.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, and modern software architectures.
- Knowledge of video processing and digital imaging technologies is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, five days a week, within a collaborative engineering team.
- Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience.
- Annual production bonus, approximately 3% of basic salary.
