A School, based in Woking, Surrey are seeking Classroom Support Assistants, to join their team ASAP.

They are currently seeking Classroom Support to join their school-based team. As Classroom Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of our students through the provision of evidence-based psychological assessments, interventions, consultations and support within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address identified needs of students.
  • Provide support to school staff in relation to student behavior management and academic progress.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Provide support and training to school staff on topics related to mental health and wellbeing, social-emotional learning, and behavior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
