Higher Level SEN Teaching Assistant - Woking- Education and Training

We are currently seeking an experienced Higher Level SEN Teaching Assistant for a rewarding role in Woking. Key Responsibilities: Education and Training

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons alongside teaching staff.
  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their potential.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure a high standard of education.
  • Help students develop social and emotional skills as well as academic progress.

Key Requirements: Education and Training

  • Previous experience working as an HLTA, particularly with SEN students.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
