Milk Education Surrey is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher to work in Knaphill schools.
The role involves planning and delivering lessons tailored to students with special educational needs, providing one-to-one support, and collaborating with the SENCO and other staff.
Candidates should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in special educational needs, along with a strong understanding of SEN provisions.
The position offers excellent rates of pay and requires a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Experience creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs) is desirable, and the role is suitable for those dedicated to continuous professional development.

Milk Education Surrey is looking to recruit an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher to work alongside some of the brilliant schools we work with in knaphill.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other teaching staff to create tailored learning plans and strategies.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with various learning difficulties, including but not limited to dyslexia, autism, and ADHD.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., educational psychologists, speech therapists) to ensure the best outcomes for students.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in special educational needs.
Strong understanding of SEN provisions and a passion for inclusive education.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Experience with creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) is desirable.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
