  • Typical Annual Sales Revenue: Between £2.5 million and £3 million, earning £18,000 - £22,500 in commission.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): £55,000 - £60,000 per year (basic + commission).

  • Develop and grow sales across the UK and Eire through direct and distributor-led channels.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to sell high-value products such as instrumentation, measuring systems, or capital equipment.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers in industries like manufacturing, precision engineering, and metrology.
  • Identify upselling opportunities to expand product usage within existing accounts.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, provide technical advice, and pre-qualify sales opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets while maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Provide regular market and sales performance updates to senior management.
What You’ll Need to SucceedWe’re looking for candidates who have:
  • Experience selling products (not services) within manufacturing, precision engineering, electronics, or metrology sectors.
  • A proven track record in technical sales, with success in hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • The ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
