  • The position offers a salary range of £85k-£95k plus bonuses, with a requirement for 10+ years of experience in software development and at least 3 years in team management.
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the CTO and may be promoted to a newly created Head of Engineering position in the near future.
  • Key responsibilities include overseeing the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications, as well as defining metrics for development teams.
  • Experience in TDD, strong architectural skills, and familiarity with Cloud services (preferably Azure) are essential, while Fintech experience is a plus.

Our client are a scale-up in Fintech Payments industry, founded in the late 90's. They are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to manage a team of 20 Engineers, that are responsible for their highest revenue generating products.

You will be reporting directly into the CTO, and is ideally looking to promote the successful candidate in the near future into a newly created Head of Engineering position.

£85k-£95k + Bonus + 2 x a week in the office in Woking

You will be overseeing the design, development and implementation of .NET applications across various platforms. They want someone who is data-driven in their approach to leading teams, defining the metrics and measures for the development teams and using this to produce regular reports to present to the C-Suite. They want someone from a TDD background, as they would like into embed this into their Engineering culture.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in the software development field
  • .NET development experience
  • 3+ years' experience managing team(s)
  • Experience with end-to-end project management and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong Architecture experience and Cloud (ideally Azure)
