Mechanic based in Woking with some multi-site travel as and when required.

Mechanic Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Workshop & Equipment Manager, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional individual to join our clients expanding team, which is committed to consistently delivering service excellence. The role will include preventative maintenance, servicing and repair to an extensive fleet of golf course maintenance equipment. This role will require both on site and off site maintenance.
Mechanic Key Duties:
- Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment, including, diesel, electric- and gasoline-powered automobiles, mowers, tractors, rollers and other mechanical equipment used in utility work
- Completes regular servicing of all equipment and sharpening of mowing equipment
- Executes job cards for works completed
- Complies with all legislation and regulations including provisions contained in the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
Mechanic Role Specific Skills:
- Mechanical experience
- Electro-hydraulic experience is an advantage
- Previous experience in a mechanical role
- Hold a full driving licence
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Desirable skills but not essential:
- Be proficient using operating reel and bed knife grinders
- Welding/fabrication experience
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic and hydraulic system
- Practical experience in green keeping and/or working with golf course equipment
- Holds a trailer licence
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to produce a high standard of work
- Maintain detailed maintenance records
