SALARY: £39,000 - £44,000 FTE (Dependent upon Experience) + Benefits
LOCATION: Flexible Working. You can be office based or Hybrid, working 1 to 2 day per week from the office in Winnersh, Wokingham and the remainder from home.
Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Winnersh, Wokingham

DUTIES
Your duties as an Accountant include:
- Preparation of year-end financial statements for limited companies, charities and partnerships
- Liaising with clients on accounting queries and other matters as appropriate
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and CT600 forms
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Reviewing work of junior members of the accounts team and support in their development
- Assist with client queries regarding aspects of their bookkeeping and other matters as required
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients as appropriate
- Regularly communicating with and updating the team on deliverables
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven, relevant experience within an accountancy practice
- Qualified, Part-Qualified and Qualified by Experience (QBE) Considered
- Sign-off capability
- Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (within and outside the company)
- Great work ethic with consistent first-class time management and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise own time to ensure that deadlines are monitored and consistently met
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work confidently with various computer and accounting software (to include Excel, Word, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage)
