Senior Data Engineer

Start: ASAP
Duration: 6months +
Location: hybrid, 2-3 days on site in Wokingham

Pay: market rate, inside IR35

Stott and May is looking for an experienced data engineer with a solid understanding o data science and expertise expertise LLM, RAG pipelines and Vector stores.

Responsibilities:
- Build data systems and RAG pipelines
- Interpret trends and patterns
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
- Analyse and pre-process large-scale datasets, identifying relevant variables and data cleansing requirements.

Skills Required:
- Experience in handling the complexities and specifics of vector data, in association with a vector database used in machine learning, AI and data analytics.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms
- Proficient in data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights.
- Familiarity with SQL, and experience working with relational databases.

Nice to have skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Familiarity with big data techniques such as Apache spark or Hadoop
