Our client is a luxurious new hotel offering exceptional service and exquisite dining experiences for our guests. We are seeking a Chef de Partie, who is passionate about cooking and looking to level up their career! This role is responsible for managing a specific section within the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standard, in line with the hotel’s menu, quality, and hygiene standards. This position requires a strong culinary skill set, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This is a rare opportunity to join a team who are passionate about food, making everything from scratch and sourcing seasonal, local produce. This will include their own beehive, vegetable garden and foraging of the local areas, to create unique dishes. The brand-new kitchen has also undergone a £500k investment into all of the latest equipment you can imagine. This is a full-time role, 45 hours per week, with paid breaks and overtime. Rotas are created 3 weeks in advance to provide stability.  Salary                   Up to £30,420 per annum, including amazing benefits listed belowLocation              Outskirts of Wokingham – due to location, your own transport is a must What you’ll be doing  
  • Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards.
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff to ensure their development.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef to plan menus and ensure consistency.

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
