We are currently recruiting for a CNC setter operator on a permanent basis for a client based in Wokingham. Ideally,candidates will have experience with CNC Milling(3 axis) and be open to being trained on special purpose 5 axis CNC machinery. However, candidates are welcome to apply that have a general CNC background and looking to progress their career. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking for progression and ongoing training / support.
Full training would be provided so this is an excellent opportunity to expand your engineering knowledge and experience working within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Time served apprenticeship ideally or required work experience (3 years machining).
- Have a minimum three years CNC machining experience.
- Must be able to use all inspection equipment and read engineers drawings.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Be able to maintain product specifications.
- Inspect all products produced, utilising the correct measuring devices.
- Ability to make machine adjustments and trouble shooting.
- Monitor product quality while manufacturing.
- Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose problems.
- Full knowledge of all tooling required, routine maintenance, and lubrication of all machinery.
We have two roles available as follows:
- Rotating shift(06.00 14.00 / 14.00 22.00) Monday to Friday covering 37.5 hours per week Salary from £35,200 per annum
- Nightshift(22.00 06.00) Monday to Friday nights covering 37.5 hours per week salary starting from £42,300per annum (higher salary offered dependent on experience)
