Salary: £14-£19ph depending on experience + benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are now looking to recruit for a CNC Miller Programmer & Setter to join us on a permanent basis.

CNC Miller Programmer & Setter Key Responsibilities:

You will be working as part of a small team on a busy section, producing work to high tolerances and spec.

Program CNC Milling machines from drawings and route card method of manufacture information.
Set Milling Machines including all tools and work holding methods.
Day to day responsibility for production throughput with due regard to best practice, times on route cards and efficiency.
Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards.
Plus, any tasks applicable to your role and experience as requested by Line Managers.
Keep up with all relevant documentation to maintain an efficient work ethic.
Help to manufacture all components within the agreed timescales.

CNC Miller Programmer & Setter - Skills/Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a background within programming and machining experience, be able to understand engineering drawings plus have experience of undertaking Production Risk Assessments.

Must have prior experience in programming & setting similar machines: We currently have XYZ 560 mini mills.

You should show a good work ethic and some toolmaking experience on manual machines would be advantageous.
