On behalf of a Wokingham based client, we are currently seeking an HGV 2 Driver to deliver gas cylinders throughout the southern counties to domestic and commercial customers.
Applicants should be physically fit and experienced in manual handling, possess good communication skills and the ability to work well within a small team.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate an HGV 2 vehicle to transport gas cylinders- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment- Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries- Follow all traffic laws and regulations- Inspect the vehicle for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveriesRequirements:- Valid driver's license with the appropriate category for driving a HGV 2 vehicle- Experience preferred but full training will be provided for the right applicant- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record- ADR- Strong attention to detail and time management skills- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customersSchedule:• Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 with some flexibility• Overtime• Weekend availability
